1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using TSS, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice and any engagement-specific documents. You must have legal capacity to contract and provide accurate account information. A client may be a company or other eligible organization. A professional account is for one individual professional and may not be transferred.
2. TSS’s role
TSS provides technology for discovering professionals, defining requirements, receiving proposals, managing engagements, documenting delivery and supporting payments. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, TSS is not the provider of the professional service and is not a party to the professional advice or deliverables supplied by the professional.
3. Accounts and verification
Users must protect their credentials and promptly report unauthorized access. TSS may verify identity, credentials, experience, licences, company authority and payment details. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee of performance or outcome.
4. Projects and engagements
Clients must describe requirements, budget, deliverables, timing and acceptance criteria accurately. Professionals must submit truthful proposals and personally deliver accepted work unless TSS and the client approve otherwise. The final Engagement, NDA, scope, milestones and agreed changes govern the work.
5. Trusted Funds and fees
- Clients pay the agreed funded amount plus a platform fee of 2.75% + USD 5.
- Professional success fees are 12%, 10% or 7.5% according to the applicable platform level.
- No paid contract means no platform success fee.
- Short projects may be funded in full; long-term or high-value projects may use funded milestones.
- Funds are released only under the approved engagement, acceptance or dispute conditions.
Clients may fund the designated escrow account by bank transfer or electronic debit or credit card. Payment services are provided through WePay or another approved financial-services provider under its applicable terms and regulatory framework. TSS does not treat Trusted Funds as its operating revenue before an authorized release.
6. User conduct
Users must communicate and pay through TSS for engagements originating on the platform, protect confidential information, respect intellectual property and applicable law, and avoid fraud, harassment, misleading claims, unlawful services, account sharing or circumvention of platform fees and protections.
7. Deliverables, invoices and intellectual property
The engagement must state ownership or licence rights in deliverables. Unless agreed otherwise, pre-existing tools, methodologies and intellectual property remain with their original owner. The professional issues the applicable invoice to the client after approval in accordance with tax and legal requirements.
8. Reviews, suspension and disputes
Reviews must be genuine and related to completed work. TSS may investigate activity and restrict, suspend or close accounts for risk, breach or unlawful conduct. Users must cooperate with the platform dispute process and preserve evidence in the Engagement Workspace.
9. Disclaimers and liability
TSS is provided subject to availability. To the extent permitted by law, TSS excludes implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. Any applicable liability cap, governing law and jurisdiction will be stated in the final operator terms or relevant engagement documents. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
10. Changes and contact
TSS may update these Terms and will identify the effective date of material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page.
